NOTE: Drifter recommends running one 2 liter transporter bag of water through the filter prior to its first use. Applying a small amount of positive pressure to the bag to remove air from the filter will help get the flow going. This filter can be used inline or to back-feed. We recommend relatively clean water for this filter as it absorbs contaminants and flow rate will be reduced with dirty water. It's ideal for travel, filtering tap water in foreign countries, or clear spring water.
